Basketball Court Construction
We offer a variety of basketball court construction options for our customers. From a single court built in a residential driveway to a multi-court facility for a municipality, we handle every aspect of the construction project. We offer basketball units manufactured by Bison, Inc. as well as Douglas Industries and First Team.
Our basketball court projects are built to be safe for our customers. We take into consideration all aspects of player requirements. Specific areas that require extra attention are:
- out of bounds needs
- surfacing options for added cushioning
- basketball court itself
All of our basketball courts have a proper safe play area suitable for all players. We’ve constructed basketball courts for high schools and colleges. We are also able to construct a layout and measurements for professional use.
Each basketball court built by DeRosa Sports Construction is designed and constructed for optimum performance. Many of our customers in the New York tri-state area have converted their driveways into basketball courts. For many people, utilizing the driveway is a great way to make better use of what would otherwise be wasted space. We can apply full color coating systems that can transform the surface of your driveway from dull to new and exciting. The children who play on these basketball “courts” appreciate the designated area.
Some of our municipality construction contracts in Westchester County have been multiple courts combined into one project. In many cases we constructed small basketball courts that overlap larger courts. This approach optimizes the existing available space. With these multiple basketball court layout scenarios, we have gotten very creative with the colors for the surface. We have even created custom colors for the lines. This allows one or two courts to be very pronounced for regulation play, while the smaller courts with different coloring and different colored lines serve their purpose for non-regulation play.
We have constructed basketball courts throughout the New York metropolitan area, including Rockland County, Putnam County, Dutchess County and Fairfield County.
